Disney Parks is partnering with companies to develop innovative safety software solutions based on Disney patented cutting-edge technology, that allows for safety monitoring and auditing of employees, contractors, and vehicle safety.
Disney’s focus on creating a safe guest-centric experience starts with ensuring safe behavior among employees and third-party operators. Mobile Check™ and Browz SiteCheck™, featuring Disney SyncLink® Technology, are mobile software developed for that purpose. By performing mobile-based assessments, metrics and analytics can be applied in real time to continually improve operations.
Mobile Check™
Listen Technologies
Mobile Check integrates safety and technical expertise into software, resulting in a top-of-the-line tool that tracks, assesses and manages rigorous safety policies and procedures in the field of employee safety. This system allows all levels of Cast Members to perform audits which will establish metrics and aggregate data useful for identifying trends in order to enhance our Cast and Guest safety experience. The data captured can then be used for metrics, analytics and accountability.
Browz SiteCheck™
Avetta
Disney partnered with Browz to develop Browz SiteCheck featuring Disney SyncLink Technology. This application allows organizations to assess contractors and suppliers using mobile devices and sync information back to a centralized site. The ability to perform on-site, real-time audits allows organizations to encourage safety and best-practices among third-party companies.
Critical Process Verification
SmartCone Technologies
Disney’s technology combined with SmartCone Technologies provides critical process verification and optimization. Processes include sensing, communicating, data processing, and alerting through positioning devices and communications networks. This process can be used to monitor compliance of regulatory, safety, and other critical processes. SmartCone Technologies Inc. (SCTI) is an intelligent infrastructure ecosystem that enables use cases like Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), AI on the edge, distributed processing on the edge, and indoor/outdoor positioning.
Automated Maintenance Verification System (AMVS)
AMVS uses patented technology to track the readiness of ride vehicles and assets during the entire attraction operation process. An integrated network of systems checks that only ride vehicles and attractions that have been properly serviced are used during park operation. The system logs vehicle cycles, work orders, and other data in real time from guest access until it has been properly serviced.
